ABOUT THE EVENT:

On June 11, join independent historian and author Dr. Alex Rossino for a meticulous look into one of the Civil War’s greatest enduring mysteries: the creation and loss of Robert E. Lee’s Special Orders No. 191. This presentation utilizes extensive primary sources to challenge long-held assumptions and shed fresh light on the blunders, blame, and battlefield consequences surrounding the famous “Lost Orders” outside Frederick, Maryland.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Dr. Alex Rossino is an independent historian and author who holds a Ph.D. in History from Syracuse University and previously spent nine years as a historian at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
